1 - If You Don't Have Anything Nice To Say...
The first day back is always the worst for paying attention. I mean, for one thing, I don't want to 'cause I'm still in vacation mode and vacation mode consists of me sleeping all day and staying up all night. Trying to switch from vacation mode to school mode takes a little longer than a day. Try maybe a week. Or a month. Either way, I slept through most of my classes.
But, thankfully, the school system seems to realize that the switch is hard because all they do the first day is remind you what they taught you before vacation, because we all know we totally forget it as soon as the test is over, right?
Meanwhile, getting the Rabbit up and running is going to cost some serious coin. I'm fifteen years old and jobless, for pete's sake, where am I going to get enough money to replace like all of these parts? I won't really need the car until I hit sixteen and get my license, but I'd like to have it ready before then so I can brag to all my car-less friends.
